Maxine founded Tidal Breath Physiotherapy to ensure people with complex respiratory needs can live safely, comfortably, and be well supported in their own environment.
With over 10 years of specialist experience in ventilation, complex airway clearance, and tracheostomy management, she has seen first hand how challenging the transition from hospital to home can be. Community‑based support for complex respiratory needs is often minimal, leaving patients and families to navigate highly specialised care with limited guidance.
Tidal Breath’s mission is to deliver personalised, evidence-based respiratory physiotherapy and training in the home, to allow individuals to thrive in their own environment, access the community, manage their health confidently, and reduce hospital admissions.
