  • No, a referral is not required to access our services. If a health professional has provided a referral, please advise us so that it can be reviewed prior to your first appointment.

  • Any documents relevant to your respiratory health can be helpful in ensuring we provide the best possible care. These may include:

    • Hospital discharge summaries

    • Medical letters from specialists or GPs

    • Respiratory test results (e.g lung function tests, sleep studies)

    • Care plans (e.g NDIS plans)

    Providing these documents allows us to better understand your medical history and tailor your treatment accordingly.

  • At Tidal Breath Physiotherapy, we are committed to delivering high-quality, personalised respiratory care. Our fees reflect the level of expertise, time, and individualised attention required to ensure safe and effective treatment for every client.

    Private Clients
    Private services are billed at $250 per hour, reflecting the comprehensive nature of respiratory physiotherapy,

    Travel within a 30-minute radius of Ballina is included. Additional travel beyond this is billed at $2 per minute.

    NDIS & DVA Clients
    Services for NDIS and DVA clients are billed in accordance with the relevant pricing guides and funding arrangements.

  • If you are living with a chronic medical condition, Medicare benefits may be accessible to support physiotherapy services aimed at managing your condition. Your general practitioner (GP) can evaluate your eligibility for rebates within this program and provide you with the required documentation to bring to your appointment with us.

    Through this program, you can receive a partial Medicare rebate ($61.80 as of 2025) for a maximum of five sessions per calendar year.

  • Tidal Breath Physiotherapy is able to collaborate with HCP providers to deliver client‑centred care.

    Please check with your care provider to confirm whether they allow external service providers.

  • Yes, however we do not have HICAPS facilities. Our invoices include all the information, codes and details you'll need so you can make a claim with your health fund.

  • Yes, we provide respiratory physiotherapy for NDIS self-managed and plan-managed participants. Get in touch with us to discuss your individual needs.
